Thanks to everyone for the info. I have decided to use 26 awg on my new 6" x
30" secondary. This should give me around 1500 turns.

My coil uses a 15/60 NST, Sync RSG, and .04uF cap. I use a 6.25" x 26"
28AWG secondary. This high inductance forces me to also use a large topload
and primary inductance, which is a GOOD thing, efficiency-wise.
