Re: [TCML] Pole Pig Question
I have a 25 kVA 14.4 kV pig, that is easily loaded into a pickup truck with two men and a hand truck. To unload, I simply slid it down the ramp without the hand truck. I singlehandedly slid it all around my garage for years until I put it on a small wooden platform with 4 wheels. It was really a home made furniture dolly, that found a new use after I moved. I'd think anything much bigger than a 10 kVA is overkill, unless the price is right. Mine was free, if you don't count the sweat equity in liberating it from the top of a pole.
