Hi, sorry if I missed it, can you advise basic configuration of your MOT PSU 
please, I  de shunted my 6 MOT supply in a DC design (FW bridge, DC filter 
and ring up inductor) and have no heat problems but run times are always 
short.

IMHO the impact of shunts is way underestimated and the leakage inductance 
is quite large leading to the potential to resonate with the capacitive 
load. I have become a DC fan myself with MOT's
