Re: [TCML] Polypropylene?
Thanks for the replys,
You guys seem to be saying yes pp and cellophane are different. I got that.
So let me back track a bit and reformulate my question, what is
Cello polyproplyne vs. polyproplyne.
Perhaps I was wrong in my assumption that cello meant cellophane but maybe cello instead means cellular. Finns guess that it might not fully be heat treated along with different initial production processes making it cellular in nature and filled with holes seems to makes alot of sense to me. Ease of manufacturing, reduction in costs, hence the very low cost gift wrap.
Sound reasonable to you guys?

I asked a person working on a cellophane plant once, this is what he
said:
"Cellophane is full of holes. It is made of granulate rolled between hot
rollers, and it never fuses completely, only just enough to pass as
translucent."
It is my belief, that capacitor grade dielectric starts it´s lourney as a
bubblefree extrusion, which is then rolled down to it´s desired
thickness.
And tested thoroughly, if not 100%.
