I just acquired one of these:

Its a 40:1 step down transformer.  I ran it in reverse with a small variac and pulled some decent arcs.  Being an instrument transformer, I am questioning its durability for tesla coil use.  It is quite big and heavy, so I could be wrong.  The specs on the sticker are a little confusing.  Cant seem to figure out the output current.
Does anyone have experience with these?
