[TCML] Tucson Tesla

Hey, Tucson Tesla types,
We are putting on a state-of-the-art Tesla coil show. Are there any TCers in the Tucson area who would be interested in participating? See the show at the SkyBar on Fourth Avenue on the first and third Fridays of each month at 8:30 pm. We could also use one or two fearless but intelligent performers. I'll add a couple of words.  Grammar, spelling, and punctuation serve at
least a couple of purposes.  Perhaps the most important for the subject
at hand is that they help clarify what is being said.  I couldn't make
much sense out of some of the early stuff.  Second purpose is to show
some respect for the person[s] to whom the correspondence is being
sent.  Seems to me simple politeness says the author should make at
least some attempt to follow the conventions in everyday use.  In what
way is email messaging different from ordinary correspondence or
conversation?

Bottom line is that if something is too garbled to make sense why bother
to reply????

Well. here's the deal:

on a mailing list like this, where one is asking for advice, making
life easier for the folks who are being asked is a generally
productive strategy.

While you might not care one way or the other, the folks you are
asking for advice clearly do.

Besides, how much longer does it take to actually put a few carriage
returns and periods in? milliseconds?

Nobody expects a finely crafted essay worthy of Steinbeck. Reasonable
sentence breaks and some attention to detail is a sign that you're not
going to inadvertently kill or injure yourself with HV gear. Maybe
it's a concern that if you are careless or lazy with your writing, you
might be the same with HV, and nobody wants to hear about a disaster.
