Hello Jan, Have you any video of the ground strikes at around 20Kw? It seems that the relatively enclosed bunker area is restricting potential spark length (perhaps a bigger bunker.....?)Phil and I were hitting nearly 13 foot at around 9 to 10Kw (mine 100 bps and Phil's 200 bps synch) although no doubt less bright (especially my 100 bps) than your arcs. I don't think we can manage much more power input with the existing electrical infrastructure but would say that our bunker is less confined than yours and that is the main discrepancy I think. Any chance of a bigger bunker or running it outdoors weather conditions permitting? I would expect it to be a ferocious performer under those circumstances. If they start from the floor, they tend to climb outwards and then upwards, possibly because heated air movement. Besides the difference in power, the bps is set to about 240 at 10 kW, but more like 340 at 20 kW. Perhaps this also determines the stability of the streamer channel. Anyone who has similar experiences at different power levels?
