Two part question, what is/are the optimum coating/['s] for a secondary?What would be the optimum distance from the outer-most coil on the secondary for the toroid's for this bi-polar coil"
Secondary = 3.5" X 26" 26AWG NST = 12KV X 30 Ma MMC = 30KV X 10NF [I know, should be at least 36KV Toriods = 9" X 2.750" Doug-----Original Message----- From: undisclosed recipient via Tesla

Reason being is the spark gap sets the frequency for the primary.A wire produces higher resistance at higher frequencies and the longer the wire between the spark gap and the primary, is like putting a huge resistor in the line.
Getting stumped by stupid things like this is the reciprocal of no sleep and and multiple halloween props to repair.
