Malcolm,

I would think that the secondary that is half wave resonant at 100kHz
would be 1/4 wave resonant at 50kHz (if I didn't get it backwards).
This would be the type of secondary that Lou would use with his
1/4 wave 100kHz extra coil.  And his generator would be set for
100kHz.
