Tried the 4 MOT ganged supply into the voltage doubling arrangement. This is
9kvrms (4.5 either side of centre) Pulsed DC of about 20kv or so.

This arrangement worked well but needed to use SRSG to keep the mains
current to managable levels (ie less than 20amps) With a static gap coil
worked hard but mains current went sky high.

Needed to put "outer" MOTS in oil to keep insulation to core adequate.

Next trick is to add a further MOT to make a total of 6 secondaries ( 3 per
side). Will mention results on the list soon. Careful selection of MOTS for
those with greatest secondary to core clearance was used.

Also found it useful to use PFC and did not remove magnetic shunts in the
MOTS to assist in keeping currents to manageable levels. Used a little
external inductive ballasting also.
