Hi All

 If I'm not mistaken isn't Titanium a type of metal like Magnesium
once it catches fire it keeps going ??  I have lit the edge of a piece
of Titanium foil and the flame front continued across the foil and
totally consumed it. I'm sure the extreme thinness had a lot to do
with this but still ?  I would not think Titanium would make good
electrodes IMHO.
