It is certainly possible to parallel a 30 and a 60 mA 15kV NST to achieve
the equivalent of a 15/90 NST, but when you talk about using a rotary gap,
things get more complex.

When you have a static gap, the maximum voltage that is presented to the
cap, gap, and NST is strictly limited by the gap width, and is independent
of the NST current.  If a higher NST current is available, the cap will
just charge faster and the gap will fire more frequently, and everything is
still happy.

But when you have a rotary gap, the bang-interval is determined by the
rotary speed.  With the same cap size and RSG break rate, if you increase
the NST current rating, the peak voltage seen by the cap and NST will go
up, possibly to something that will destroy the cap or NST.  When you go
from a static gap to a rotary gap, the size of your cap MUST be increased,
or you risk over-volting things.

is it possable to wire up a 15000 30ma & 15000 60ma? i 
was running two 15000 30ma with no problems untill i 
decided to unhook the r.q. tcbor gap and thy just the 
rotary....and lost one nst so no i have a 30ma and a 
60ma?i am using a 5gal geek group cap(sometimes with two 
wine bottles)tcbor gap i was using two but one stopped 
firing,just recently added a four electrode rotary 
gap,the two nsts,flat pri. 14 turns 1/4 copper 
sec,6"x27,wound 25"with #22 thanks for all your help :]
