That`s the Museum coil, which has now been operating for  6 years.

The copper toroid is spun from 1.5mm or 60thou copper sheet, on the same 
tooling as the alluminium ones I had made as a group effort long ago.

It gets quite dull after a year`s operating, but it polishes easily and 
this is a good reason for a yearly touchup.
