For 8" spheres, capacitance in pF as function of the spacing between
adjacent spheres in meters:
0 19.2
0.1 23.7
0.2 26.9
0.3 29.3
0.4 31.1
0.5 32.5
1.0 36.8
2.3 40.7 (90% of 45.2)
It seems thar for reasonable separations half of the capacitance is lost.
